Theory with Cranfield.
Practical training where it suits you.
Your theoretical knowledge training should open doors — not tie you to one flight school. Cranfield students remain free to choose the practical training organisation that best fits their licence path, location, aircraft preference and personal circumstances.
One theory school. Freedom for everything that follows.
Cranfield Aviation Training School specialises in theoretical knowledge training. Once your theory is complete, you are not tied to a particular practical training provider through Cranfield. You may continue with an appropriately approved training organisation of your choice.
Where guidance is useful, we can help identify practical training options from organisations we know personally and, in many cases, have worked with for years. The purpose of the network is not to restrict choice. It is to give students reliable points of reference when they want them.
Independent advice. Connected training.
Practical training is a major investment of time, money and trust. We believe students should compare schools carefully and choose an organisation that genuinely fits their route. When we make an introduction, it is because we know the organisation and consider it relevant to the student's circumstances — not because Cranfield requires the student to train there.
Training connections across borders.
Useful points of contact for practical training. Current approvals, availability, aircraft, prices and contractual conditions should always be confirmed with the respective provider before enrolment.
